Fieramilanocity, Allianz MiCo or Rho: choose the right route
Milan's urban exhibition district and Rho are different destinations. Identify your venue, entrance and connection before choosing accommodation.

Do not search only for Fiera Milano. Find the venue, hall and entrance on your ticket: Fieramilanocity and Allianz MiCo refer to the urban exhibition area, while Rho Fiera needs a different journey. Your organiser's gate determines the final section.

Read the address before choosing transport
Fiera may describe an organiser, district or event. Save your full venue, hall and gate. A generic search can send you to a different site. Even the correct district still leaves the assigned entrance to find, particularly for registration or deliveries.
The old fair is not a single map pin
Fieramilanocity is the urban reference many visitors remember as the old fair. Allianz MiCo is in the same broad area: use the exact venue and entrance published by your organiser. A gate for another congress is not interchangeable. The current records provide the Portello route and official references without assigning one walking time to every entrance.
From Centrale: two different journeys
For urban entrances on Viale Scarampo, SMAU's official directions use Garibaldi and Portello. For Rho, follow the dedicated guide comparing metro and rail. If you attend two events, save two routes: sharing the Fiera Milano name does not mean sharing a station.
Choose accommodation around the whole day
For rail arrivals and departures, compare a Centrale base against the journey to your actual venue. If the congress occupies your entire programme, compare accommodation around its entrance too. Dinner, another meeting and luggage all change the decision; no neighbourhood is best for every exhibition.
Before you leave
Check the organiser's latest entrance notice and current transport alerts. With mobility requirements, ask about the accessible route to the correct gate. Event admission, public-transport tickets and accommodation are separate bookings; none confirms the others.
Questions before you go
Is the old fair at Rho?
No. For the urban fair, identify the venue and gate in Milan. Rho is a different destination.
Is Portello always the right stop?
It is a reference for several Viale Scarampo entrances, but select your route using your event's map.
Does this guide sell admission?
No. It is independent travel guidance; check tickets and accreditation with the organiser.
