EICMA: where to stay and how to plan your Milan visit
Compare a Milan Centrale base with the Rho area for EICMA, plan tickets and the return journey, and check real accommodation availability.
THE DECISION, FIRST
Choose your base after checking which days you can attend and whether you also want to explore Milan. Centrale is worth considering if you arrive by train and want evenings in the city; the Rho area may suit a programme entirely at the exhibition. Neither is the best answer for everyone.
Choose around your trip
Exhibition and city break
When to consider it: Compare a Milan base
What to check: Think about the evening journey as well as the trip to the exhibition.
All appointments at the exhibition
When to consider it: Compare the Rho area too
What to check: Map the entrance, appointments and repeated journey.
A team or family
When to consider it: Check layouts and the number of units
What to check: Request actual dates; adjacent or multiple apartments are not guaranteed.
Confirm access before choosing accommodation
Public days and press or trade days are not interchangeable. Check the official EICMA calendar and your admission category before choosing check-in and check-out. The current record below contains the verified edition's information. We do not carry dates or rules into the next edition automatically.
Milan or Rho: consider the whole programme
If you combine the exhibition with dinner, sightseeing or meetings in the city, consider an urban base. If every day is at the exhibition and you simply want to return afterwards, compare options around Rho as well. Judge convenience by the route you will repeat, not a broad distance from the centre or a neighbourhood name.
Centrale is a starting point, not a guaranteed shortcut
For train arrivals, our Ponte Seveso and Gluck guides help compare the area around Centrale. Getting to the exhibition remains a separate part of the day. Use the Centrale–Rho Fiera guide to compare metro and rail, then check the actual service before travelling, particularly during works or strikes.
Plan what happens after the exhibition
Before reserving dinner, allow for leaving your hall, travelling back and reaching the restaurant. Do not assume extended hours or special trains unless they have been announced for your date. With luggage or a morning departure, an evening around your residence may be the simpler choice.
Groups need an explicit confirmation
Provide dates, guest numbers, preferred bed layouts and the number of apartments needed. Availability in one residence does not prove that other units in the same building are free. Ask for a complete proposal, including the total cost and conditions. Exhibition admission is not included unless expressly confirmed.
From dates to a confirmed stay
Search for your complete period and check the individual residence's features, access and terms. A guide does not hold accommodation or a price. If your trip still depends on tickets or appointments, consider the cancellation conditions before confirming. Compare like-for-like stays rather than relying on an unsupported claim of savings.
Questions before you go
When is EICMA?
Use the verified edition record and the linked official calendar. Public, press and trade access can have different conditions.
Is Quasi-Hotels inside the exhibition centre or affiliated with EICMA?
This is an independent Milan accommodation guide. It does not imply an EICMA affiliation or residences inside the exhibition grounds.
Can I book several apartments together?
